Donald

Donald R. Clerc, President, has enjoyed helping customers use computers for over 20 years. In that time Mr. Clerc has developed an expertise for designing effective networking, telecommunications and Internet solutions for customers on a variety of technical platforms.

Donald graduated from Pasadena (TX) High School, has a B.A. in Psychology from Austin College in Sherman, TX, and a M.A. in Psychology from West Georgia College in Carrollton, GA.  He also worked for two years in the Houston Independent School District as an Associate School Psychologist.  This background has focused Donald on understanding his customer's issues and concerns with their computer systems.

Donald worked for Tandy Corporation (Radio Shack) as a Computer Instructor and Customer Service Representative.  He taught over 40 different courses to more than 2,000 adults and children, and was the primary technical support person in the city.

He next worked at the American General Life Insurance Company, where he installed the first PC local area networks (LANs), as well as responsible for the System 36 and 5520 networks.

At American Capital Management and Research (now owned by Van Kampen), Donald installed and managed the corporation's first mission-critical PC LAN-based application, which was used by more than 125 people in Marketing and other departments.

Before starting his own company, Donald managed the Customer Service department at The ForeFront Group, which developed and marketed Internet collaboration and utility software.  Before the company went public, he also wrote user manuals, tested new software, and developed the corporate database.
