Wins “Over The Top” Customer Service Award On January 22nd, the Greater Southwest Houston Chamber of Commerce awarded Clerc Computer Consulting Corp. with their “Over The Top” Customer Service Award. This award answers the question “What are your customers saying about you?” Norma, our wonderful Customer Service lady, keeps track of all positive (and other) comments you customers tell her when she makes her periodical calls to make sure you’re happy with your computer systems. So we had lots of positive customer comments to submit for the award. Thank you for being so generous with your positive comments about our company and employees. of the First Annual CCCC
Customer Satisfaction Survey In January, we sent a request to over 600 current and inactive customers asking them to participate in our first Customer Satisfaction Survey. Over 100 of you responded to the request and completed the survey. On the first question, “How would you rate the quality and reliability of the services from Clerc Computer Consulting?” 63.5% responded with Excellent and 28.8% responded with Good. For the next question, “How would you rate the responsiveness to your requests?” 71.8% responded with Excellent and 19.4% responded with Good. And the third question, “How would you rate the helpfulness of our consultants?” 64.4% responded with Excellent and 27.9% responded with Good. We were delighted with your ratings of our ability to satisfy your computing needs. And your comments were very useful in helping us to improve our services to you. For example, one comment reminded us that sometimes we lose track of all the different items you want fixed during one of our appointments. The solution to this problem is to make sure we write down all the items you want covered during the appointment before we get started. You can help our consultants be more efficient and productive if you have this list written down before the consultant arrives. Thank you again for your comments and suggestions. Those of you who completed the survey will soon be receiving the certificate worth $50 off our next visit. We plan on doing this survey every year to make sure we continue to improve the quality of our services to you.
After we
had sent out our last newsletter talking about how Microsoft will stop
supporting Windows 98, they changed their policy and will continue to support it
until 2006. So this means that you
may continue to receive Windows 98 Security Updates and other support features
from Microsoft until that time. Those three
choices of what to do with your operating system are still available.
You can either keep your existing Windows 98, upgrade to Windows XP, or
purchase a new computer with XP already installed.
We are finding that the hardware, software and labor costs for upgrading
an existing computer to Windows XP are close to the costs for a new computer.
